Foundation year 2 (F2) doctors are fully qualified doctors with experience of hospital medicine. They are pursuing a career in hospital medicine but, as part of their training they spend time in general practice to help further develop their core skills. They also contribute to the education and training of the wider healthcare workforce. You may be offered an appointment with the F2 doctor.
F2 doctors need to video some of their consultations as part of their ongoing assessment and development. The video is confidential and would only be used for teaching purposes. You may be asked by the receptionists if you would like to take part. There is no obligation to agree to the video. If you do agree, you will always be asked at the beginning and end of the consultation whether you are happy for the video to be used.
